Who can participate?
The workshop is aimed at anyone who has basic knowledge of making music and playing at least one instrument. It does not matter whether you are a professional musician, a music student or a hobby musician, as long as you have previous knowledge, openness and curiosity. Existing instruments should be brought along. The workshop contents are based on the previous knowledge of the participants.
Direction: Mahala Rai Banda is a Romanian band founded in 2004 by Aurel Ionita. She plays a mix of traditional folk music and club music with Balkan influences. Above all else, the band is known for mixing traditional pieces with modern sounds, creating unusual arrangements. Mahala Rai Banda tours nationally and internationally. www.mahalaraibanda.ro
Registrations will be accepted as long as seats are available. We ask for early registrations!
